they have a girl playing, it makes you feel less confident but the teams i have played in work always supportive because my team—mates believed in me, it made me believe in myself. i would like to see women's cricket and women's sport in general feeling better respected, because people being rude on the sidelines is stopping girls playing sport, which is important for their physical health and mental well—being. but i'm told that things have improved. in devon it has progressed very well, we have 13 women's clubs, we have to softball friendlies, the girls have won national titles across the country and i'm pretty sure it remains the highest growing sport for young girls. the england and wales cricket board told me they are investing in
